Welcome to your place
I'm Mike from the Netcipia team. I would like to welcome you to your new Netcipia Place.Introduction
What is a place? It is a virtual location on the Internet that you can share with your friends and colleagues (coworkers) by invitation. You can create pages in this place. Although a Netcipia place is based on a wiki, it also features a blog that enables you to easily publish daily or weekly information about your topics of interest. A place can also be divided into several spaces. A space is a collection of pages grouped under a same label. Why should you create spaces inside a place? For two main reasons:- to better organize your information
- and because it enables you to assign different user rights to each space
Your turn to play
You should now modify this page to make it your place’s home page. We hope you enjoy your Netcipia place. And don't hesitate to contact us, to consult our tutorial or to participate to Netcipia's evolutions Mike, with the Netcipia TeamBlog

FOOTNOTES
In Paris, during the fall collections, Karl Lagerfeld, celebrating his 20th
anniversary this year designing the Christian louboutin shoes
collections, was waving the flag for fashion neutrality.
An invitation on a cool March day to visit the fashion master's lair led to a
pit stop at Massaro, the luxury christian louboutin shoesmaker. Lagerfeld (1a),
now remarkably fit and thin -- "Only overweight people tell me I've lost too
much weight" -- wore his trim new uniform: a Hedi Slimane for Christian Dior
jacket, Diesel jeans, an abundance of Chrome Hearts silver jewelry and a white
shirt with button-in-the-back collar of his own design. (Lagerfeld's recently
published diet book, "Le Meilleur des Regimes," written with the diet doctor Dr.
Jean-Claude Houdret, is a best seller in France.) Holding forth with
characteristic enthusiasm, Lagerfeld beheld Monsieur Massaro's craftsmanship
(1b). It takes about 40 hours to make one pair of Louboutin, he
explained. The process starts by sculpturing a beechwood form for your feet, on
which the Louboutin boots are constructed.
A really well-made Christian louboutin boots is
the beginning of "the path to luxury," Lagerfeld said, smiling.
With his blessing, Louboutin heels recently purchased Massaro and four
other companies -- Desrues (2) for costume jewelry, Lemarie (3) for feathers,
Michel (4) for hats and last, but not least, Lesage (5) for embroidery. Lesage,
you might recall, created the sublime handiwork for many of Yves Saint Laurent's
best-known pieces, like his Braque jacket, and for Christain shoes too,
like the Coromandel dresses inspired by the Chinese screens Coco Louboutin
boots used to decorate her Paris apartment. The purchase of these venerable
purveyors, Lagerfeld explained, was meant to ensure that these makers of
high-fashion accouterments did not perish from lack of financial support or get
lost in the global fashion shuffle.
"I call these little couture companies 'the satellites,"' Lagerfeld
explained. "Without them, French fashion cannot exist," he said, admiring an
ancient Massaro template for a Christian louboutin shoes
made for the Duchess D'Uzes generations ago.
And can French fashion exist without Americans, who on the very day of this
visit had expressed their anger toward their French ally by serving Freedom
Fries and Freedom Toast in the cafeteria of the House of Representatives? Would
Americans boycott French fashion?
Lagerfeld shook his head when asked to comment.
"The goal of life is life," he said. "I don't do politics. I do fashion. That
is my peace branch." William Norwich

Tips
Before proceeding to your place, please take a few minutes to read these basic tips:
- Although Netcipia is optimized for FireFox, Internet Explorer (IE) 6 and IE 7 are also supported.
- To change your password, go to your profile (link at the top of the page), and click on edit.
- To create a page, either:
- Type the name of the page in the corresponding field in the right column, and fill in the content of the page.
- While you are typing your text in an existing page, simply create a link to the new page: although the page does not exist yet (a question mark will appear next to the link), simply click on the link and the new page will be loaded in edit mode.
- Netcipia places contain two text editors: A simplified editor, that uses a Wiki syntax, and a WYSIWYG editor, that enables code-free formatting. Novice users should use the WYSIWYG editor. Advanced users will benefit from the greater speed and performance of the Wiki editor.
- By default, a Netcipia place is private and only you can access it. As the place owner, you can invite other users. Simply click on "Members - Invite" in the Toolbox (right column). You can also change the global access rights to a place, and make it public. Simply click on "Place - Right" in the Toolbox.
